Work Experience

These past two weeks of work experience have been a blur. I have been going from one shoot to the next and downloading images in between.  I have had the wonderful opportunity to follow Leigh Frey of the NAIT photography department for a period of time. I was given a lot of responsibility in my time there and I loved every minute of it. I was even in charge of a shoot that will be on the cover of the student awards calendar in the future. What an opportunity! I have included some of the shots that I was able to take in the time that I was there.

This was a shot I took with a 4 x 5 camera with 35 mm film loaded into it. So exciting!

This is my sister...or should I say my most beloved model who is never tired of me taking pictures of her no matter what she is doing around the house. I owe her big time for always being willing to have the lens pointed in her direction.

Just got a lens today. 50mm 1.8. Just a little something to play around with ;)

This photo was taken by one of the clients at Boyle Street Community services. Isn't it interesting that this is one of very few photos I have of myself? That's the reason why we're photographers though, right? We don't like to have our pictures taken . . . and we can't draw.
